There are many educational projects to work on which would include the Roles of the NPD practitioner and the Standards of NPD practice.

thoracic surgery setting in the outpatient clinic, postoperative inpatient setting, and intraoperative (OR) setting. I work M-F 8a-5p. I am happy to take any FNP or acute care NP student. OR experience will be observation only for the student.

I work in the inpatient and outpatient setting on the surgical service. The student will gain valuable experience in: comprehensive and focused exam, oncology staging for lung and esophageal cancers, inpatient management of the acutely ill patient, preoperative work up/evaluations, postoperative care and follow up.
